Mark was born in Houston, TX then later moved to Springfield, MO where he attended Parkview High School and went to Southwest Missouri State University for 2 years.

In February 1995, Mark joined the Army, spending most of his time on small teams doing combat advisor missions with foreign forces in the Middle East. Retired as a Command Sergeants Major After 23 years of service on Active duty and moved back to Springfield. Mark has two kids, Logan and Kendall.

Mark enjoys being outdoors, shooting, weight lifting and working on older cars, primarily his 1973 Split Bumper Camaro.
